Chris,
The pushrod sticks into the cab just above the gas pedal.

FYI,

The Dorman 14041 5-piece plastic clip assortment has the four fingered retainer.
Insert it in the 'eye' of the pushrod FIRST, and then snap it over the pin.

If you try it the other way around you will break it.
