Trans temp stuck?

Trans temp stuck?
Hey all, I've noticed lately that the second I start up the truck, trans temp goes right to mid gauge. Assuming its not supposed to do that. What could be causing that?? Gauge itself or sending unit??

The factory transmission temperature gauge is really just an idiot light, if the oil temp is 50 degrees it will be in the middle.
