Fellas I have a prob....I got a pretty good Idea where to look but need to hear from the experts...LOL! My door ajar light and chime keep going off and is sucking the life out of my battery when not parked with the truck leaning towards the passenger side. It comes on when driving down the road as well. Have any of you had this problem, any help and insight would be greatly appreciated.
change the latch switches in the doors, could spray with electrical cleaner first just to see if it is gummed up, then open and close the door a few times and see it it stops
Before replacing the switch (it's a PITA), grab a medium to large can of WD 40 with its red straw and give the latch assembly a "high colonic". This will soften the encrusted grease and will usually restore normal operation for several years.
