puking while towing always head gaskets?

Have you checked you degass cap or replaced it recently? Mine was puking a little, but the original cap was too weak to hold pressure. Replaced the cap, no more issues. Also, do you keep the coolant about 1/2" below the minimum line?

Bob I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, but 2 cups could easily be a bad cap that's not up to snuff... Heck when my EGR cooler blew, I was going through a gallon of coolant every 100 miles. I don't know if head gaskets would go through that much coolant or not, but I would consider the cap and go from there.
