Hey guys I'm picking up a 86 extended cab with a bad e40d tranny for 600 bucks gonna slap my turbo and tranny (c6) on it from my 87. Would it be easier to pull the 86s motor out and bolt everything up and put it back in or just leave the motor in? And will I need a new drive lines?
If it`s auto and stock it has to be a C6. Maybe someone removed the vacuum valve from the injector pump. There would be a ton of extra electronics if someone had swapped in an E4OD.
