Wasn't too bad. He cut the wire back to where the fitting slipped on, heated the end with the prop torch, and put in the solder.
After it cooled we put on the heat shrink wrap.

sweet so its just gonna be locating a mounting point that works for me

Mine fit right in where the 2g used to be without any modification. Just unbolt 1, change in the new one.

lol i i know that i got the large case though im gonna have to grind out the bracket a little. i was refering to the fuse. i saw the photos you put up of having it on the fender i think im gonna try for that i dont know ill see how it plays out.

I'd put the fuse on the fender, less vibration/ heat there

also water protection!! i also had to order a pigtail for my fuel pump relay due to moisture it coroded and started to heat up!!

That pigtail has been replaced twice on my 89. Normal wear and tear believe it or not. make sure to goop everything up with dielectric grease

I have a can of cnc contact cleaner I spray everything down with first. Then goop it all up.
