i currently work in the quicklane as a lube tech i was a ford asset student at ccbc of catonsville untill i let my academic classes fall behind, however im trying to get a spot as a helper in their truck shop as that is where my interest is primarily. i hope to be a ford master diesel technician within 5 years its a tight goal and at the rate im going it wont happen lol but hopefully things pan out ill see
just an update here i got the 3g clocked way easier then i expected im having a hard time finding the fuse and wire at the local parts store though and i have read i will loose my voltage gauge on the dash do u have any knowledge of this?
kit from rgm? what is that and i think i may have the wiring figured out but a diagram is never a bad idea. thanks for all your help with this hope im not a bother

Generator has voltage cap at 45 amps
alt with external volt reg 1 G has voltage cap at 75 amps
Alt with internal reg 2 G has voltage cap at 95 amps( this one gets hot, and catches fire)
Alt with internal reg, 1 wire has voltage cap at 160 amps
It goes to 6 G, but I'm lost after 3. too new for me, lol
