Did a search on here to see what type of cam I should swap into my truck for a little more power and efficiency. A lot of good info, just wasn't sure what I would need for my particular motor/setup.
I have a 92 flareside with an upgraded msd ignition, drop-in k & n, 3 inch true dual exhaust with gutted cats and glasspacks. Rear wheel drive, E4OD with stock gearing and tires. The motor is a 302 with a speed density setup.
Is it possible to throw an E303 cam in, change the firing order and just re-pin the injectors? Or do I need to go maf? Any suggestions would be awesome! I don't use this truck to tow or haul, it is my summer daily driver and just a Sunday cruise vehicle haha. Just want the 5.0 HO firing order! Thanks guys.
The E 303 cam is a little to much for SD , you would need to go to MAF and get a good tune , you could use the HO roller cam with 1.7 rockers , is your truck a roller now ? , if not you will need the roller retainer and dog bones , the block is roller ready so its easy to do ....Lew
