CPS ?
What are the signs or symptons of cps failure, I have seen comments about having a spare in glove box and a 10 mm socket. Every once and a while my F-250 diesel struggles to start and after it starts will only idle while driving will not throttle up. Sounds good, but one MPH only makes me late for dinner.

Sometimes it's a cold start and sometimes after running for a good distance turned truck off to hear in drive through and wouldn't start back up five minutes went by it started but only idled down street to safe place parked it restarted after ten minutes drove great?

That doesn't quite fit the classic CPS failure mode - that sounds more like IPR or ICP. Could have a IPR coil on its way out. Unplug the ICP next time it does it - should fire right up this rules out the CPS. Also look for oil inside the ICP plug. Oil=bad ICP. If you're lucky it'll be that or a loose IPR nut.
