Smile Cps

one of the more common signs of CPS= Bad

Hey ya could try the idea a lot of guys are doing - unplug it & Plug it in a few times to clean off the contacts - some folks are reporting good luck w/ this.

I'd still carry a spare CPS all the time in the Glove box w/ a 10mm socket & extention to chnage it out. Beats being towed in!

What are the vitals on your truck Don?

How many miles on the engine? Which tranny? Any abnoraml smoke? Any modifications done to it? Check engine or Service Engine Soon light on? Any other difficulties or abnormal operations? The more information you can provide the easier it will be for the board to help you diagnose the problem.

Check connectors on the engine wiring harness Could be intermittant short like I am hunting. After cleaning all of mine it has been "die" clear for a week. I am still planning to change the harness according to ford repair manual but feel i can put it off for a few weeks
