dash gauge lights not working??
Got a little issue with my 78, when I turn the headlights on, the dash gauges are not lighting up. Everything else works, such as the headlights, taillights, even the a/c and heat control backlighting works, just not the backlighting on the gauges.....any idea what the problem could be???

The heater control lights are on the same circuit as the instrument panel illumination (gauges), so if those don't work, it's isolated to the instrument panel itself. This takes the fuse and headlight switch out of the equation.
Check the back of the instrument cluster. The bulbs are installed using small carriages that lock into place. Check these contacts for corrosion. You could also simply have burnt out bulbs.
