Which should get hotter first?
ECT or EOT?
My ECT gets hotter quicker than my EOT.
Going down the highway 70MPH I see ECT 192/EOT194
Before I did my waterpump and thermostat I was seeing 186degECT which I believe was due to a stuck thermostat
Is that a problem that the ECT heats up quicker than the oil?
Just don't want/need any problems. Thanks

Unless something is wrong in your system the coolant will come up to temp. first. Once up to temp. the eot will always follow the ect. Thing about who's cooling who. The tail shouldn't be wagging the dog.
