T6 in the truck and both ATVs. It's kinda strange, I like to change the oil in my truck, but I would rather get a nuclear wedgie than changing the oil in my wife's Pathfinder.

I use Ford Motorcraft 5w-40w Full Synthetic. It does help a bit in the NC Mountains during cold winter weather.

After two expensive oil changes at the dealer, I decided to change them myself. I chose Rotella T5, 10W30, I ALWYS did the changes on our vehicles, but for some reason I started using the dealer's service. No more...

Shell, Exxon, Mobil oils? Bet they all will give you great performance....

Bet you will sell your truck before you hit 250K miles too! LOL

I use Smittys Super "S" synthetic that is produced locally here by Smittys Supply in RoseLand Louisiana, they custom pack for Chevron and some other major brands but produce & sell the Super "S" as a house brand, it sells for about 25 % cheaper than the majors and does just as good a job as far as I'm concerned.

I always used royal purple in gas engines. I am new to diesel so I am curious to know the answer. Our trucks come with motor craft full synthetic correct?

Tech needs to read the owners manual and service manual closer.
- 15W40 is recommended when fueling with Bio-Fuel.
- 5W-40 recommended for below 0 deg F (-18 deg C).
- 0W-30/40 for -20 deg F (-29 deg C).

I use Resolute at the local fleet farm. API certified in the 10w-30 weight. I don't do much towing but when I do it's 16,500lbs. In MN we have 5% bio in our diesel and maybe I should be using 5w-40 but I like the milage with the lighter weight. I have sent samples in at almost 10,000 miles and they come back well within range
