Tie into either the hazards or the cigarette lighter for constant 12V.

Check the physical bulb. See if the filament in that bulb is still okay. It may have acted like a fuse

Its not the bulb, my glove box light, dome light, and cargo light are all dead, no power in the circuit. The cig lighter iirc is the dome light circuit as well, dont have my haynes anymore so cant be sure. I dont want to tap into anything. There was a plug there with open spots so i used them. I really dont like splicing into what i dont have to. I added a fuse to the box for cigarette lighter only, because my spotlight kept blowing it. Lol but i soldiered into the key on, not the constant power.
