Remove your glove box..only about 4 screws...and you will have a great view of the heater core and blower motor area. If I remember right...there is a harness end on the right side of the heater core, about 2/3rds the way up. Use a light....not easy to see.

this wire is too short to reach under the glove box. also the plastic clip has a pin on it like the ones that would push in to attach. plastic pin with slit down the middle to use to attach to a hole somewhere. does that help????

If its the one I am thinking about...then it goes behind the glove box. The little push pin clip is to attach it to part of your vents to keep it from getting caught on something and getting unplugged. (Guess it didnt work) What color is the wire? I will look at the schematics to see if I can figure where it goes. What year and motor is your truck? will help.

here is a link to the wiring diagram for your truck...hopefully it will help. There is no re/black wire but there is an orange/black wire....could be a dark orange in your truck. That wire is one of the two wires to your blower motor. Looks like thats the one. May have to do some digging to find where it goes. anyway here is the link.
