I am driving a 2WD 2001 F250 Superduty 5.4L with 306,000 KM and I have a front leveling kit that fits under my front coil spring (poly puck shape)
I just did my ball joints, alignment, and new BF all terrains and looooove them. My front leveling kit added +2 inches to the front and now my shocks are short by 2 inches. I have found a solution that my supplier suggested to me (very economic value) that I install shock extenders (+2 inches) ontop of the shock to allow the proper height.
I would very much appreciate some feedback on this issue, I am not sure if this is safe or unsafe...or any other concerns.
Yes, I have the offset coil and shock. A few suppliers in the area seem to have an issue with getting these shocks I asked for, one wanted A LOT of money for 2 and I would like to stay more so on the economic side. I just purchased a new exhuast system and tires so..
