i ordered the sinister coolant filtration system from mkm customs for $129 with free shipping should be here in a few days looking forward to putting it on
Got mine (Sinister) sitting on my bench waiting for me to find time. I must say after looking it over thoroughly I'm REALLY impressed with the quality and the look !
what is the difference? my filter gets hot enough to burn me very quickly. only thing I can think is that I am reverse flowing the heater core. it is still filtering coolant though. You can see it spraying into the reservoir.
but yeah, to replace that hose? If I'm wrong, I'll change it
If your a little wrench savvy you can make your own. I went to a class 8 truck shop, bought a filter head and 3 fleet guard filters (WF2077 I think) then 6ft of 3/8in heater hose. Then to home depot for some pex fittings and a ball valve. Took it all home and fabbed up a mounting bracket. I used the instalation instructions from an aftermarket kit to make sure I knew how to hook up the lines the right way. Total cost to me was about 75 bucks, and I got 3 filters instead of 1. I used a piece of dimond tred steel that I painted black came out pretty nice.
