iPad /tablets /games
Hi,
I'm looking into tablets for my wife -- only real reason is games. She has a DS right now and has gotten most of the games that appeal to her.
She likes board games(monopoly etc), gambling, and TV style quiz shows ( although these never seem to transfer very well). Single player.
I have no tablet brand preferences and I actually dislike Apple in general, but it's not out of the question. wifi only is fine.
So, if anyone has any recommendations as to brand ( and why), I'd appreciate that. Also a good place to see lists of games. I Googled around a bit, and there didn't seem to be much info in the game types that we're looking for.
Also, (please) comments on battery life.
I'm not really all that hot on this, but it seems to be the way it's going. We used to find $10 handhelds that she could play until they wore out. The DS is OK, but there aren't many choices in the categories of interest, and it appears to be going away.
Thus the tablet, unless there are better options (portability is a must).

I have an Ipad and the battery life is great.. Usually charge it every 2 or 3 days of light use..
As for games there are plenty of websites that offer games that are free and can be accessed from any internet device.. No need to buy an more games
