To do the computer swap you need to make sure that both trucks have the same transmission. And (of course) you will have to swap over the harness with the mass air meter. You will also need the air box from the 5.0 cause 94 and up mass air have the air temp sensor in the air box, not in the intake (currently like your 5.8)
