I'd keep your fingers crossed and hope it needs a new motor. If you've already settled on a price, then a truck with a 0 mile motor, exhaust, gauges, probably an intake, and what sounds like a TS style chip, then I'd say you'd be ahead of the game.
Once you figure out what they are and are not going to do to fix this, then we can go over how to properly remove the chip to determine who's it is and if you should get it re-burned.
Keep us informed as to what they say they find.

dealership still hasn't gotten my truck fixed. as of now the #8 injector sleeve was cracked and leaking coolant. they are starting there for the fix and sealing all the injecters. if its not the fix they are sending the heads out for pressure testing, magnflux and headgaskets.
