Cruise Control

My cruise control is not working. I have checked the fuses and replaced the cruise control release switch on the master cylinder. Not sure what else to check.

Also, I don't think my torque converter is locking as it should. I replaced the PCM back in the spring. Do you think these could be related? I don't think they have worked since I replaced it, but it was down awhile do to my HPOP being bad.

Cruise not working and TC not locking would cause me to suspect a sticking brake pedal switch. Maybe a spray can of electrical parts cleaner might help ensure the switch is clean and working properly.

Are your brake lights on all the time?

Replace brake pedal switch and did not fix the problem. Is there something else in common, or am I down to tracing wires? Does anyone have a wiring diagram or pinouts of the brake pedal switch?

Did you replace your PCM with the exact same code?
Have you removed your chip to see if that makes a difference?

Have you had the cruise control recall done? Looks like there are fuses in that harness that comes with the recall.

Yes, I had the recall and I removed the wiring harness they installed with no change. I have had my chip out with no change also. I am going to work through my wiring on my brakes to see if I can find a loose or bad wire.

When my horn was acting up on it's own I pulled the relay. CC no longer works. Might check the relays.
