Mornin' fellas,
Christmas is right around the corner and I will be asking for better speakers in my truck. Any suggestions on which will fit/ sound the best without having to install an extra amp?

Should be 6x8 speakers if Ford hasn't changed them. The 4 way Pioneer speakers from Walmart sound pretty good.
Your best bet to see what fits for sure is to look up your truck at Crutchfield: Car Stereo, Speakers, Home Theater, LCD TV, Digital Cameras.
They usually include wiring adapters as well.

Of course the only real way to get better sound is an amp or headunit upgrade. The factory headunit has some limitations that an aftermarket unit wont. I would suggest a mid priced 4 channel amp and a mid priced set of speakers.

I would suggest these infinity referance speakers.

They have 3 things going for them that makes them stand it from the rest.
1 they are inexpensive and they sound awesome.
2 they have a 94db efficiency rating and they are 2ohm. what this means its they well be lounder than other speakers at the same volume level.
3 they will bolt right in with no hassle.
I would also suggest getting ford speaker wiring adapters when you buy them, so you don't have to cut the ford wiring to install them.
