One thing I noted while cleaning the injectors; I read that the fuel rails (schrader valve) needed to be depressurized. I was expecting a geyser from what I'd read, but it was a nonevent.
Is this normal? Does it bleed off if you wait for the engine to cool down?

pressure should be some where near 30-35 psi. and if it is correct then , yes, a geyser of some sort should be present.
If you depressed this valve long after running this, or turning the key to the on position, ( like 4-8 hrs) then you might get a "non-event".
You might want to get the fuel pressure tested to be an the safe side.
