I have a 1998 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer. In installing a 7 pin plug on my utility trailer to match my factory furnished connector, I have apparently blown fuses that I can not locate. The running board lights on the vehicle are not working. I have no lights on the trailer of any kind nor electric brakes. I have located the fuse panel in the passenger compartment ( Drivers side) and in the engine compartment ( drivers side) and checked fuses in these 4 locations, but can not find a fuse that is blown. Is there another fuse panel located anywhere else that I have missed?

Have you tested the 7 pin connector on the truck to see if you are getting power there? If you are not getting power there and fuses are good I'd check for a bad ground at the plug. If you are getting power there, problem is in your trailer wiring

There is no power to the 7 pin connector on the truck. I have checked all of the fuses I can locate. I thought there might be a fuse panel that I have missed. The trailer wiring was existing with a 6 pin plug. I wanted to pull the trailer with my Expedition so I was changing over to a 7 pin. I had the lights and the E brakes working but had no tail lights. I swapped wires to match the directions on the plug and that is where my problems started.
I found a blown fuse in position 16 in the power distribution box in the engine compartment. Going to get a replacement. Hopefully that will give me power back to the trailer connector on the vehicle and I can sort out the trailer issues. Thanks,
CHUCK
