7 pin trailer plug
before i go tearing into this thing, i figured i should ask here first.
on my 02, the previous owner did some butchering at the 7 pin. there are 4 wires hanging alongside it with crimp connectors on the ends with cut wires in them. i figure he wired in a 4 pin instead of using an adapter.
the other night, i needed to use the car trailer, and have no brake lights/ directionals.
i do have running lights though.
are the superdutys like the chevy heavy dutys with individual fuse protection on the trailer plug circuits, or did this guy hack up the electrical system??

For the trailer brake/turn, you have two separate relays that feed the trailer connector. These get their power from a 20amp fuse in the fuse box under the dash(fuse #6). The relays are located in a aux fuse box 4 located in engine compartment, LH side, rear

but as long as the lights work, i don't care.
you know what kind of a hassel it is to get a "police escort" on new years eve cause you ain't got no dang brake lights or blinkers on the trailer after dark??
