Things are a bit slow at work. That sucks as I earn mostly by commission.
I observed a out of control vehicle last night.
Thought that I was in the cross-hairs. I estimated her speed in excess of 55mph.
It veered off and smashed over the curb, into an empty lot, just missing a hydrant and destroying the wheels in the process.
The driver came walking across the lot with a blank look on her face.
She was very disoriented.
The police released her to the medical team for transport to the hospital.
That was the topper to an evening of odd events.
Earlier I had been stuck in traffic on the way to a highway patrol call.
There was a covered wagon on the two lane I had to route up.
I took a picture so I could prove to the trooper just why it took me so long to get to his location.
