F250 Clockspring

F250 Clockspring
I recently purchased a 2001 F250, which I knew when I made the purchase that the horn didn't work. While driving it home, I noticed the cruise control didn't work, and also that the airbag light would come on, and periodically go off. After researching this on this site, I determined the problem is likely the clock spring. This truck has a 7.3 and has 275k miles. I did change the fuse in the horn and the horn worked, but I didn't have the truck running, nor did I turn the steering wheel. I removed the steering wheel to get the part number on the clock spring, which is F81A-14A664-CE. While checking on RockAuto and a few other sites, I didn't see any of the clock springs with that part number, and when I searched on that number, only came up with one listing, which showed this associated with a 5.4 engine. The part that I ordered 1L3Z-14A664-AA. I have two questions, 1) does it appear my problem is the clock spring, and 2) should I be ok with the part that I ordered? Thanks.

A while back I performed a bit of research on the various clock spring options, which may be of some benefit to you.
