Here's what it is, what it does and FYI it costs $214.00 brand new... - Digital 6AL Ignition Control - 6425
Why are you yelling at us?

First things first. TURN OFF THE CAPS LOCK, it implies you are yelling, and makes it difficult to read.
Second, the MSD ignition fires the sparkplug multiple times per ignition event. (IIRC "MSD" stands for Multiple Spark Discharge) So instead of getting one spark, you'll get 3 or so. The benefits are a smoother idle, fewer emissions, potentially better fuel economy (nothing drastic) and some claim easier starting.
Will it benefit a stock truck? Doubtful. Unless you're running high compression, boost, alcohol, etc the MSD does very little on a street truck. The 6AL box has rev-limiter capability, however your EFI truck already has one from the factory, making the MSD one useless. You'll need the harness to install it, along with the instructions/wiring schematic. They have crapped out on a few people so that may be something to consider.
I've considered adding it to my truck, however it runs beautifully as-is, even with the Bosch plugs the P/O put in. I'd sell the wheels for cash, and get some parts you can use like headers, a cam, etc.

If you truck is ANYWHERE near stock, or is NOT in need of a new coil and other ignition parts you will so no difference with the MSD.
They have a history of going out on people, if it were me I would sell the wheels and buy a new MSD unit if I wanted one.. There could be all kinds of damage done to the used unit, there may not be any problems, but, do you feel lucky today???
