<!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->I'm bouncing back and forth between 3 or 4 guages. I would like to haveEGT, Tranny temp, boost, and fuel pressure but wonder if a 4 gauge piller add on is too much.
If you could only have 3 which one would you do without?
Thanks again

Get a 4 gauge pod, it's not "too much", and get the 4 you want.

YUP...i WISH I GOT THE 4-GAUGE PILLAR. AFTER BEING ON HEAR OVER A YEAR NOW, I'VE LEARNED THAT ALL THE GAUGES do play a role, and can tell you/pin-point some parts that can effect a "bad" gauge reading. You'll probably kick yourself in the rear, if you got the 3-pillar.
Thats where they put the coolers for cars with autoboxes!! You don't have the high cool demand for a stick vs the auto!! and that may be all it needs!!
i think it depends on the year, when they went from OTW to OTA. I cant remember also, what year they switched radiators, but mines all aluminum, and others i beleive, have the plastic ends.
With $130+ in coolant, and $85+ in trans fluid, i want to put, along with my filter, an OTA set-up, so if/when something does happen, it wont effect the other
I have to admit this tranny confuses me, a cooler and runs on ATF rather than 90w

You're in no danger of the clutches in your torque converter slipping or causing the fluid to overheat. The ATF in the gearbox is only used as a lubricant, not a hydraulic fluid.
I change my ATF every 50,000 miles and it's always come out a nice shiny red. I'll be draining it again before too long when I hit the 400,000 mile mark with my original ZF-6 still running strong. I'd say you can skip the tranny temp gauge on the stick.
The system in the dash is a mulit-media center. Mine is a little cheap (Jensen), but it serves my purposes. As the prices on these have come down, I would do a Pioneer if I had it to do over again. What it can do (some are options, some are built in):
Radio... HD, satellite, and regular.
Bluetooth... automatically links to my phone and I have control from the dash or the dongle.
GPS
CD/DVD... (I never use the disc... that's old-school)
USB
SD (up to 8G)... I have 300+ road-rage songs (20 hours) and I'm using 1.6G on the card. I have room for a 4-hour DVD movie on there in addition to the music. It can also view digital pictures on the card.
Backup camera... (good picture with the right day/night cam)
IPod interface with voice control... who needs IPod when I have an 8G SD?
To keep it simple, only the controls for the current function are on the screen. When I receive a phone call, all audio functions stop automatically and I get the phone over the speakers. When I back up, the camera camera automatically over-rides all functions except the phone (nice safety feature - backing up without distractions). All audio levels and EQ settings are programmed separately, so the phone doesn't blast as hard as your favorite woofer-shredding music... or whisper as low as the weather report.
I almost forgot to mention this... it has pretty good security: If the power is completely cut, you have to enter a 6-digit PIN to get it to function again. Thieves might eventually figure out how to over-ride the security, but at least they will be discouraged until then. One caveat... if you forget your PIN, it's new deck time.
