Carpet Question
This isnt for my truck, but my 2006 Mazda3 daily driver. I have worn a hole in the carpet from the side of my foot rubbing against the dead-pedal when I clutch. The car is in pretty good shape, and I have every intention of keeping it for another 5 or so years. Rather than replace the entire carpet I want to order a yard or so of from JC Whitney, cut it to to fit, and glue it right over what is there.
What might be the best way to adhere this patch to what is there? Shoe-Goo? Rubber Cement? Contact Cement? Kindergarden Glue Stick?

Gorilla Glue is some serious stuff....just make sure you don't let it squeeze out the sides, it dries a foamy-ish yellow color and ain't exactly complimentary to interiors. But it holds like, well, a scalded ape.

I paid $15 for carpet out of later Supercab, had to cut it to fit at the back wall but at least it's in great shape. I was gonna make a dash cover out of the remaining carpet but that was til I got my red dash pad...now I don't wanna cover it up lol
