down pipe

when replacing down pipe i notice that old pipe has insulation foil around it and all the new pipes don't. will you notice heat on floor if you dont have insulation around pipe, i have been reading the new pipe replacement reduces heat. thanks

I wouldn't worry about it. I don't think you will notice anything as you are getting rid of the factory downpipe which is super restrictive and opening up the exhaust. Temps should go down.

also the aftermarket dp is a tight fit to i had a bad nosie vibration on the floors and it was the dp rubbing on the firewall only when i braked and turned right. so i dont think you really get that heat shield on it you have to notch or bend cut that pinch weld out
