3" downpipe question

3" downpipe question
This has [robably been beat to death but i'm gonna ask anyway is there a pinch weld under the heat sheilding on my 97? Ever since I put the new bullydog pipe on it has this irratating? rattle that happens when braking! 
I was curious if anyone else had the same prob. and what is the fix?Kinda hate to tear off the sheilding for notta!!

7.3sled,
I had to beat,bang and cut with a sawzall! Pull the pipe back off and do some more trimming. Take a pipe and beat the floor board seam back some more. I got lucky with my BullyDog pipe it didn't rattle. Hope this helps ya-good luck!
