Yes, but the "I" wire merges into the harness under the dash. It's where the pink wire ends into the connector.
Reading your post a little more, the resistor wire is all under the dash in the harness loom. The wire to the coil under the hood is just regular copper wire.

OK, thanks. I'll have to take another look under the dash, it's not a pretty site. I've seen a wire harness available through this site for '67 8cyl trucks, could I use it for my '68 6cyl. with 8ft bed or is it completely different?
