No interior lights
Hey guys I am having a problem with my interior lights not turning on when I open a door. The only way they will work is to hit the switch at the light. I had a clicking sound from the relay I think and the lights were flickering. Also had a chime sound from the speakers. I read that this happens to people with rain which we had alot of. I checked all fuses and replaced the relay under the dash and still have no lights. Everything inside still works radio windows locks. Is there anything that I am missing.

Have you tried spraying the slide actuator with something like WD40, usually that will cure your issue.

No door chime had that problem before also some wd40 works great for that. I just have no interior lights. The headlight switch will not turn the lights on either. The lights on the front doors do not light and I think the rear cargo light stopped also.

The stuck door switch was different the lights would go on and off with the chime and door ajar light on the dash. I don't think the door ajar light comes on when you open a door will check that when I get done work

I also have that problem where if I try to turn them on with the switch next to the head lights it does nothing to the inside light or the cargo light

I haven't checked the forgot the name of the part behind the stereo yet. I read that controls the radio and windows and doors switch, but will part of that work. Everything else in the truck electrical wise still works. I hope this doesn't turn out to be something stupid I overlooked.

Is the gem behind the stereo? I checked the door ajar light and chime does work when a door is open. Side question has anyone replaced the rubber coupling on the steering shaft I think mine is going bad. Do you know the price on a gem and is it only at the stealership?
