Not Sure Were To Post This
But My 77 Super Cab's Engine Is Tired,Valves In Two Cylinders are Bad
351M and I Picked Up a 351M Saturday for $225.00 Engine Has a Very Fresh Rebuild On It,Guy wanted $400 and Got For $225 It Has an Edelbrock Performer 400 Manifold On It, Chrome Valve Covers and Came With a Manual 3-Speed,He Said It Came out of a 66 But Really Not Sure?
it Has #10387 On The Front of The Block, Does This Mean Anthing?
Motor Is Very Clean and a Friend Of Mine Is Going To Check It Out
for Me,I Pulled The Oil Pan and it is Very Clean as Well Inside!
Anyway I Was Just Wondering If I Could Find Out Some History On It
As The Guy Was a Little Vage!

sounds like you already have a lot of details on this; what else do you want to know? An engine like this which has been totally rebuilt is likely 'Ford' in name and displacement only; so much of it has likely been turned over to aftermarket components. It may make no difference where it came from. Whats important is what its got in it and where its going.
I would say you got a pretty fair deal by the way.
