Do you mean the brake light stays on since having a new axle? Check to see if they've been under the dash and they've moved the switch. If not...we need more info!!

might be the switch on parking brake or brake fluid low or indicator is sticking.
thats the only two switches I know of for dash brake light.

probably the Delta P switch in the combination valve after the master cylinder. the switch needs to be recentered. can do it manually by removing or just crack one of the lines out of the combo valve while someone applies brakes. forces switch back to center.
switch indicates loss of front or rear brakes ie fluid

Also a favorite tip (got it right here on FTE) is to check the connection on the cable under the master cylinder. Cleaning and repositioning mine saved me twice when the light went on.
