No one? i know Power Service is cheaper and more readily available, i.e. more popular, especially at the chain stores, but Stanadyne seems to be the fuel additive of choice at most shops that deal specifically in diesels.
John Deere wanted Stanadyne to package their product in JD's Green/yellow containers and Stanadyne refused to do it, so JD basically tried to "copy" it and packaged it themselves! if that's not good product endorsement i don't know what is!!
Stanadyne also does NOT contain any alcohol, lots of brands do (Power Service), and while not horrible for a diesel it's used only because it's cheap.
My local Carquest stocks it, not sure if they do nationwide but they move a lot of it here locally, was 6 bucks a bottle (16oz) for the longest time, it just recently took a jump to 9 bucks a bottle, so i now buy it by the half gallon for 20 bucks.
I haven't ran any 2 stroke oil in my IDI yet but I've been running the ashless stuff from walmart in my 24V for 3 years now. I run half a quart to every 30 gallons. I forget what the exact ratio was but I would think somewhere around that would work for these IDI's as well.
I bought 6 half gallon bottles of the Stanadyne brand stuff at once from a cheap ebay seller, it was some diesel shop. It was a bit of cash outlay at once, but I had sold a few things and had some money in my paypal account, so it was kind of like free money to use. I have a long term supply now, I use about 6 oz per tank.
