Thanks, guys. I just spent 3 days in bed because of the fumes when welding galvanized metal. Bad stuff. I've since changed to wide radius black steel angles and pipe. I bumped the amps up to the next level and kept the feed speed the same, and the weld are beautiful now, and seal up like a coffee can.

next time welding galv. drink a big glass of milk and try harder not to inhale the fumes!

Glad to hear your ok! And that you got the problem fixed. I was going to ask, why not make them out of copper or brass? Seems like that would be easier. But of course copper prices are way up there right now.

Do you have any pictures of latest new-and-improved work?
