Hello i have recentally bought a new to me used aluminum intake and the bypass tube nipple is missing . Its the one that goes to the water pump. I believe it is a press in fitting? The hole doesnt seem to be threaded. ANy help on how to fix this problem would be very appreciated. I would like to be start the motor up this weekend. TIA
I did some more research and i just decided to tap it to 3/8 npt. will be picking up the fitting tomorrow. Still wont be able to start the truck though need to get the flywheel balanced...
What do you mean by "get the flywheel balanced " ? If your big block is internal balanced then the flywheel doesn't get balanced. If it's external balanced then the flywheel is balanced with the crank as a unit.
