pulled into gas station with truck running great, and after filling it up truck would turn over but not start. finally pulled it off, and ran great.
few hours later, going down road fine, let off pedal to slow down and truck shut off. started to open the cap on fuel filter and fuel started to shoot out like it was under alot of pressure.
any ideas. i would try to look some more info up, but net running extremely slow.
Being a 550 they have a liner inside the tank I believe, it could be possibly that it is clogging your tank vent building pressure I suppose. The pressure at the filter seems unique though, with that pressure it's probably fine. Start with the CPS, one of the first easy things to swap if your truck is dying.
CPS...and if you haven't had the Ford Recall done for the CPS yet, just go into the dealership and get it done for free. Otherwise, they're like $20 and 15 minutes of your time.
