ignition key alarm
I just bought a 2005 F350 and the alarm that sounds when when you leave the key in the ignition when the door opens will not cut off. It sounds even with no key in the ignition. Anyone know a fix ??

I did read that you can squirt some WD40 in the key hole and then run the key back and forth until the sensor unsticks. I tried this and It didn't work however, I also read that the wire that controls the alarm is black with pink stripes. If you find this going into the back of the wiring harness under the dash you CAN cut it. I did NOT cut it, but I did pull on it a little and it ACTUALLY worked. The beeping stopped and it works like it's supposed to...
