Cruise help.

My 1991 f150 4.9 has cruise control, but it looks like someone changed out the throttle body and pulled or cut the cruise out of the old bracket. I can tell that they removed the throttle cable correctly, but my cruise control cable goes to nothing and is outside of the bracket just whaling about.

First question is how can i tell if the cruise is working? i.e. light on dash....as there is no light when i press the on button on the steering wheel.

Second where are the relevant relays and fuses and what do they look like?

Third how am I gonna get the cruise control cable and plastic end back into the bracket? i will have to include some pics tomorrow to show you what it looks like...

Thanks in advance for your help.

There are no lights on the '91 to indicate the cruise is turned on or working.
