Sounds like your fuel pump could be on it's way out. Low pressure and leaking from the weephole. If that is where it's coming from. Maybe someone else knows how low is significant of pump failure...

What should the pressure be at idling? I just got back from picking up a new pump. If its not raining when I get through eating lunch Ill see if I can rule this problem out. Thanks.

Hot dang boys I think we got it!! Got the new fuel pump on and as of right now I dont see any fuel in the valley or any dripping below. i drove the crap out of it and figured it would leak if it was going to. Ill check it again in a few days and if still no leak we'll call it a success. I would personally like to thank each of you who posted pictures and took time to answer my dumb questions. If you dont mind I would like yall to send me your email addresses and cell phone # so I can reach you at any given moment as Im thinking about opening my own diesel shop.LOL!!! That'll be the day. Thanks again.

Awesome man. Hope that gets it. No reason to go to a mechanic when you have FTE!!

FYI the fuel pressure should be 60-70 psi ideally at the valve on the side of the FPR. If it isn't high enough there's a trick for that too.

Ok whats the trick. I checked the pressure at idle after I installed the new pump and still was only getting the mid 40's. Just assumed it had air in it. Was going to check it again in a couple of days to see if it was any different.
