Vacuum Delete

On my 85 f150 with the 351 ho with an edelbrock performer carb, is there any vacuum lines i can delete. I just hate the mess of vacuums under the hood.

What functions do you want to lose???
Do you need to pass emissions wherever you live?

There should be a sticker on your radiator support telling you where all the color coded lines are connected to.

No i do not need to pass an emissions test. Ive looked at the sticker but im not sure what i can delete and what i cant. I dont want to just start deleting then my truck not run properly any longer.

Do you have the stock intake manifold, or the NON-EGR performer manifold to go with your carb?

Do a search for "351 emissions delete" there are a bazillion threads on this.

Hard to lose the EGR then, it's covering a hole in the exhaust.

There's lots of people on this board who have deleted the A.I.R. pumps and the plumbing across the back of the heads.
Charcoal canisters and purge plumbing, EGR etc..
But you need to keep the lines for the Distributor, PCV, heater controls and air cleaner(if it's stock)

Scratch that.... you live in Florida and probably don't need a functioning heat riser in the air cleaner.

It sounds like half of your stuff is already missing. If the stuff was still there, I wouldn't touch it.

To put it simply, the PCV and Vacuum Advance system are the two things that you should not remove. The EGR can stay or go, it doesn't really matter. If it is functioning correctly and connected correctly I would leave it.
