Overhead console removel

I have a '06 Lariet with an overhead console. Just a flip down thing for glasses and storage compartment. No electronics. How do I take it off? I don't seem to see any screws.

The overhead consoles with LED display are held in place by spring clips. So you simply pull down on the cover, while working it side to side. They are on there tight, but they will come down.

If you don't see any screws, then I think the storage overhead is assembled the same way. Check the very front tip, above the rearview mirror, just to make sure there isn't a screw there. Sometimes there is. But if you can see/feel one there, then it is just spring clips.

When u pull it down it's gonna sound like u brome it but don't worry it didn't lol

Thanks for the replies. It kind of looks like it snaps in but want to make sure. It wouldn't be the first time I tried to remove something and then find, "Oh it was screwed in!
