Overhead display console not working

Overhead display console not working
On my 2000 Ex my overhead console screen does not work. I have searched and found a few F series ones but nothing about the removal of the huge console. Is it pretty much the same process? Thanks!

I can chime on this one. It's only like 2 screws and a strong pull down, don't yank, you'll brake it. Pull down from the very front first though, it's held up there by two friction clips and the back of the console has one and a hanger. You'll also have to unclip 3 wirering harnesses. Mine went out a couple months ago and I haven't missed it. It was a source of consent lies. Hope that helps, if you brake anything it wasn't my fault...

My overhead just went out. On the 04, there is 1 screw in the console (i think it is in the sunglasses cubby) then just pull down from the front then the back. I will check where the screw is next time I get in the Ex.
