Skip VC-9 and get Fleetguard Restore and Restore Plus. Flush with the Restore first to remove silicates and the additive you put in, then with Restore Plus to clean out corrosion and prep the system for the new coolant. Follow up each step with several water flushes to get everything out and refill with an ELC coolant like CAT ELC or Zerex HD.
