My truck has only about 33k miles on it. The EOT/ECT is too much, 18, degrees. I want new engine oil cooler, egr delete & new head studs etc. The truck is in great shape & paid for I want it to last many more miles & years. What I'm looking for is person/ place that is honest & talented. If anyone can help me out I'd be very happy. Thank you in advance.
Thank you for the reply. I planned on doing it myself & got most of the parts. As I was following directions to remove turbo I could only find 2 turbo bolts & I thinks directions called for 3.
I don't have a garage & have to work outside.
Have you ever removed your turbo? I really wanted to remove my exhaust cooler & install the blocked up-pipe with the coolant bypass for egr cooler. If possible could you give me some needed pointers? Thanks, Rick B.
I have not dont so on a 6.0, but a 7.3 yes. I believe Toyman has done this a time or to, and would be able to offer you the most advice. He is also right over in Allen Park. there was supposed to be a working gtg here soon, maybe you could jump in on that.
