New to site been looking in on some answers. Got a 99 350 7.3 powerstroke rough idle and dieing and refiring in flight. got a p1280 Icp failure on my edge. I saw a thread that talked about the UVHC can anybody tell me what that is and where on my engine thats located?
it is the under valve harness connection. this is the .50 thread will show you how to fix it. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...-cent-mod.html
here is the icp, you can unplug the icp then start it and if fixes it then that might be it.
Under Valve Cover Harness
It is the wiring that connects to the injectors and glow plugs.
The P1280 can be caused by a faulty ICP sensor or oil in it's connection. Either way, the sensor would need to be replaced. You can unplug the sensor while it is idling rough and the PCM should go to a default setting and smooth out. This would indicate a bad ICP sensor.
