Question need some help

i have a weird problem the truck gets a ruff idle for a few seconds and then its fine then ruff, someone said it can be my map sensor, i replaced the tps sensor and now when i hit the thortle it takes off good but when i idle it gets weird. this was before and after i changed the tps sensor

Hmmm, wiring harness's under the valve cover ok? Sounds like one is failing to me.

i think you might be right call my dealer and said thats what it sounds like one of the harness are bad and i said f*^% it i'll replace all of them so i know there all new. thank u

it sucks, i get it when it has little bs problems like this but u know i still love this dam truck

ok i replaced all the wires under the vaule cover and checked the gp and replaced the fuel filter, map sensor,tps senor,gp relay and stiil having smoke from unburned diesel. don't know what it can be. please help

Injector o-rings. Too bad you didn't mention smoke earlier,you were just in there too.

why would in have unburnt diesel? from a o ring and would it affect performance

It will leak down into the cylinder past the injector seal from what I have heard. Personally I've never been in there to really tell you. Just what I have read here on FTE.

Yes, due to loss of pressure for that injector.

Hmmm. You might be looking at a bad injector as well.

find someone that can run injector buzz test and cylinder contributions.

i talked to the guys at bean performance, awsome guys i told them what i need to get if there bad injectors and asked him what stock injectors look like he told me but didn't match what i saw under the value cover. i told him the injectors said allied or something like that with a long bar code ans serial number he stated that those are rebuilt injector and more than likely it has a bad o ring due to poor install of the injectors, he defintly made me feel a hell of lot better because i wanted to wait intil spring to up grade them to stage twos. and now i might have a chance to wait once i replace the o rings on monday. thanks for all the help you guys are awsome.
